Thyme is a healer
Common thyme, that is often used to flavour culinary dishes, has powerful medicinal properties and may be beneficial for digestive ailments, intestinal worms, bronchial problems, throat infections, diarrhoea and lack of appetite. Drink 3 cups of tea a day, limited to 7 consecutive days. A strong thyme infusion with some salt added makes an excellent mouthwash as well as a skin cleanser and anti-fungal agent for athlete’s foot. As a companion plant in the vegetable garden, you can plant thyme near tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and cabbage to improve and benefit their growth.
